Network neutrality - life or death for an independent ISP

This is something that every independent ISP - wireless or not - must pay attention. Regulations and laws now being proposed free trade will threaten all the ISPs. This is important, folks! If the independent ISPs don t run on this issue, you can all bread.

Clumps grateful that when the cold weather and getting ready for spring, the FCC and Congress is considering regulations and laws that would make them out of business.

Issue: Network neutrality. Originally domesticated only a concept which says that ISPs should not use their positions in ways that anti-competitive (such as cable companies to avoid or prevent the video online telcos VoIP), the time has now been hijacked by interests that want to impose rules that would prevent ISPs from managing bandwidth, preventing port used by the worm, prevent P2P from taking over their network, or even sell speed broadband connections at different prices!

It is amazing what the FCC and congressional aides have little or no contact or speak with your ISP or a small ISP ... and that they have been told many times by the proponents of network neutrality that competition for cable and telephone companies already dead! They seem to still believe this, and is preparing to release the principles and laws that will deal with cable companies and telcos blowing, but it can kill very easily lumps and small ISPs.

All independent ISP, lumps and foremost, you need to talk about this issue.

ARI filed no comment or answer comments on continuously, and has been Filed memorandum in ex parte docket no. (You may file ex parte agreement when you go talk to the workers or the Commissioner of the FCC about it.) It was, apparently does not affect this at all necessary. Business only ISP that does not have the Part-15.org Filed (Michael Anderson), and that the opening was short, vague, and (primary comments from the staff at the FCC) is not persuasive enough. ISP and especially mass needed to talk about it. The proposed regulation would prevent it from throttling or P2P prevent .... allows you to take is on the network bandwidth and rob you for the interest that companies use to distribute content.

They may also force you to pay a little, increase your prices and / or do that you can not compete with cable service in areas where you are covered with them. One FCC Commissioner has said that he wants the FCC to make rules as we go along, ISPs in the complaint to punish without previous warning that the basic behavior can be punished. It is unfortunate that the free ISP's seem totally blind to the fact that all this happened! What is independent ISPs need to form a coalition to address this issue. If you do not, you ll likely be blindsided by the rules that make it impossible for you to continue in business.

Some believe that it is your duty to bandwidth, not decide what the end user and Bandwidth. I, it is clear that Comcast practices play a central traffic and PTP bad people, adulterers, and bad for the network. In markets where Comcast is the only option, it is understood that users screaming for regulation. If their network, or your network in this case, being taken over by PTP bandwidth to users and then sell them in a very small price. Maybe they should re-plan and structure their services with the bandwidth cap or the cost is for the use of more than $X. An insanely remove ads and high-speed broadband connections over 1-100 oversold-subscription will win for all

On the other hand, service providers must be able to prioritize traffic in a uniform way to type while directing traffic banned from the source or destination. If you prioritize VOIP traffic on your own VOIP service, you should be asked to prioritize VOIP traffic to another destination.

Currently, there are a number of organizations against you wear. Network neutrality is an organization called the Squad recommends that the government regulate and micromanage your ISP. Some of the ISP claims that do not work including web caching proxy, does not preclude the Port 25 to limit spam, not to prioritize traffic (even VoIP), and not limited to P2P Bandwidth monopoly.

EFF, a group called Save the Internet, and the number of commercial companies (such as Vuze, Inc. and BitTorrent, Inc.) who trade using the P2P sites and the cost of the ISP ..... also been very active. And small, independent ISPs have no-shows in the FCC hearing at Harvard, in court two weeks ago before the House Judiciary Committee Antitrust Subcommittee's, and almost every other forum on the issue until now.

The FCC will be after the trial at Stanford University in mid-April, and ISPs need to call and ask the Commission panel. You may also need to submit a comment in the FCC docket 07-52 and visit the Commissioners and their staff. You may also need to contact members of Congress and Senators, especially if they live in the House Commerce Committee, and signed at a meeting of Congress. At this stage, must immediately take action to change the weight Tide, because work against you as well - especially from your failure to speak.

You need to talk, because many members of parliament completely Oblivious network when it comes to recommending Apt, and even more, the laws and regulations ridiculous. However, you must take a long look at your own actions, and emphasize what is right about what is best for your business style.

Seven Principles of documents to see what needs someone to take reasonable ISP and what is not - and also opens the user's responsibility and content providers.

I m worried that many clots are potentially dangerous to ignore the law. You can not ignore this issue and think they are going or developed in the sense of wisdom and courage that will help you. You have to be careful with your comments MUST stay and said the topic.

Or you can just blindly go about your business and let things happen to you.
